One of his most difficult assignments was documenting the battle of his friend and colleague with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), a report that earned him two Florida AP Awards.
In 2001, Jennings transitioned to news at WZVN-TV & WBBH-TV in Fort Myers before joining KMBC 9 News in Kansas City, Missouri, in June 2012, where he currently serves as the Sports Director.
